Gary, Brandon’s younger brother, had lived with their mom for a year because he wasn’t able to find a job.
A Brother’s Unstable Circumstances
Gary would move in and out of his mom’s place because he couldn’t maintain a job for over a few months.
Brandon suspects this was due to bad vices, but he isn’t sure because his mother was overprotective of his brother.
Siblings’ Initial Plan
Shortly after their mother’s passing, both Brandon and his older sister wanted to sell their mother’s house because the market was good.

However, Gary wouldn’t let them inside their mother’s house, claiming they should’ve given him a heads-up prior.

Desperate at this point, Brandon offered Gary 10% more of the inheritance payout, but he wouldn’t budge.
