When asked to be her cousin’s bridesmaid, a woman was forced to make a tough decision. The problem was that her cousin’s wedding was on the same day as her graduation. Now, her family pressures her to make the “right” choice.

The wedding was a special day for Maria since she was the first person in Linda’s generation to get married. Unfortunately, Linda and Maria weren’t close because their parents didn’t have a good relationship.

However, since they were the only women in their generation, Maria asked Linda to be her bridesmaid. Linda was flattered by this gesture but quickly realized she couldn’t attend. Her college graduation would take place in the same week.

At Linda’s college, the graduation ceremony consisted of a week of events, traditions, and ceremonies. Since Linda didn’t get to have a high school graduation due to COVID, she was looking forward to these graduation festivities.
